Gratitude for your Giving: A message from WEL NGO's Co-founder

Greetings, friends!

A young school-age girl and WEL NGO Volunteers at a previous Papa Champion Event in Côte d’Ivoire

As you know from our previous posts, the Women Entrepreneurs and Leaders (WEL) NGO is collecting funds through their Papa Champion project to raise money to better equip a girls school in the city of Bouaké, Côte D’Ivoire. We also support the St. Genevieve Welcome Center in Katiola, where children who do not have family support are provided care and education.

This week we want to say a very special thank you to those who have contributed to our fundraiser this year for WEL NGO and the St. Genevieve Welcome Center. To date Koné Consulting has raised $1,750.

Below is a special note from WEL NGO’s Co-founder and President, Elodie Kouadio:

I am very pleased to announce that WEL has received $4,800 in donations for this year’s fundraiser.

This money will go toward school tables and desks (est. $4,000 USD) for the Mienrassou Girls School so the students no longer need to sit on the floor, a cash donation of $800 USD to St. Genevieve to help with overhead costs, and an in-kind donation of school supplies to St. Genevieve. Our goal is to raise $5,250 USD this year. We thank you for your support!

There is still time to donate
if you’re so inclined. Koné will keep this donation portal open through December 25. Thank you!
